Las Vegas band, Adelitas Way, has taken a spot at number 66 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart with their newly released album, Home School Valedictorian featuring their hit single “Sick”, selling over 7,000 copies since mid-June. The band will perform at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia Aug. 20 in the Carnival of Madness concert.
In a May 25 press release from the band, singer/songwriter Rick DeJesus said, “The CD is a massive step up… We set the bar so high on this record; we really tried to outdo ourselves.”
Adelitas Way will join Theory of a Deadman, Emphatic and Alter Bridge in the Carnival of Madness concert at the Pepsi Grandstand in Sedalia.
Theory of a Deadman is expected to release a new album July 12, The Truth Is… with the first single, “Lowlife” already on its way up the rock charts. The album follows their previous platinum-selling album Scars and Souvenirs.
Alter Bridge has also made its mark in the rock world and gained much fame from their smash hits “Isolation” and “Ghost of Days Gone By,” which are featured on their third album, ABIII.
American hard rockers Emphatic from Omaha, Nebraska will debut their new album Damage, July 12, which showcases their hit single “Bounce.”
The Carnival of Madness concert is expected to be well attended following the tour’s successful debut last year, and further diversifies the lineup of music offered at the State Fair.
